Ballona Wetlands Science and Research Symposium

Once a 14,000 acre stretch of wetland that reached from Culver City to Pico Boulevard in Santa Monica, only 72 acres of the Ballona Wetlands survive in Marina del Rey.

Join the Friends of Ballona Wetlands for a free scientific symposium that will highlight current monitoring and research being conducted at wetlands throughout the region. Presenters will include wetland scientists from throughout California. This event
is open to the public.
