Raindog and Michael Paul

Continuing in its quest to come out of the closet, the Lummox Press features another night of outstanding poetry by two veterans of the local poetry scene: MICHAEL PAUL (Dog Whistle Politics - 2011) andRD ARMSTRONG (E/OR - Living Amongst the Mangled - 2010). Each will be reading poems from their new books.

Though MICHAEL PAUL now hails from Northern California, he is still a much-loved member of the OC poetry scene and was one of the founding members of the Five Penny Poets.

RD ARMSTRONG, AKA Raindog began his most recent incarnation as a poet in the early 90s. He has 18 chapbooks, 9 books to his name, and has been published in over 300 poetry magazines, anthologies, blogs, and e-zines. He also operates the Lummox Press, which published the Lummox Journal for 11 years, the Little Red Book series and the new RESPECT series of perfect bound collections of poetry. Since 1995, RD ARMSTRONG has been laboring away in the trenches, publishing the work of poets from all over the US, so this is a rare opportunity to see/hear him. He will also be hosting.
