Singer Justin Bieber was detained for questioning and released after arriving at Los Angeles International Airport today, according to media reports.
Bieber arrived at the airport on a flight from Japan, according to his Twitter account.
An airport spokeswoman referred all questions about Bieber being detained to U.S. Customs and Border Protection, but an official with the agency did not return calls seeking comment.
U.S. officials said Bieber was subject to routine questioning upon his arrival at LAX before he was released, according to ABC7.
