Flotilla 12-42 of the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary will be offering a four-week About Boating Safely course, beginning September 10th, 2012. Classes will meet every Monday evening, from 7:00pm to 9:30pm, at California Yacht Club, 4469 Admiralty Way in Marina del Rey.


About Boating Safely is a concise yet comprehensive boating safety course that covers boating basics, such as what to do before getting underway, operating your boat or personal watercraft safely, safety equipment, navigating the waterways, legal requirements, handling boating emergencies, and using your marine radio and other electronics.

Many insurance companies will offer discounts on boat insurance for taking and passing such a course.  Also included is a 10% discount for Boat U.S.


Course fees are $45.00 per person or $55.00 per couple, if paid in advance. Both options include one textbook and one set of course materials. This class is expected to fill quickly, so reserve your spot today.

Thank Glenn E. Grab for taking the time to send an answer. I agree with you, it would be blue IRead More think. I would like to hear from someone who has the same problem, there are hundreds of boats with this spray. Now having said this, we have now come up with a more rational reason. It's the pollen, not bee pollen, but tree pollen. Makes sense as it does only happen once a year. Searching for answers, this makes a little better sense.
