Freshwater Marsh Interpretive Tour

Once a 14,000 acre stretch of wetland that reached from Culver City to Pico Boulevard in Santa Monica, only 72 acres of the Ballona Wetlands survive in Marina del Rey.

Join the Friends of Ballona Wetlands for a free guided tour of the freshwater marsh, birds, and native plants that make up this hidden urban oasis in Marina del Rey.

You will see a wonderful variety of birds, learn about native plants, and see how the freshwater system works.

Find out what's happening in Marina Del Reywith free, real-time updates from Patch.
