Come celebrate the boating lifestyle at the 3rd annual Marina del Rey Marina Fest on May 19 and 20.
The Bill or Rights, a 136-foot replica 19th century schooner, will be on display, and the festival will include activities like a stand-up paddle board clinic.
“This year’s Marina Fest will include everything from affordable family-oriented power boats, sail boats, brokerage motor yachts, to speed boats, fishing boats, family cruisers, and boating accessories at great values,” said Dave Geoffroy, show organizer and executive director of the Southern California Marine Association.
Teen sailor Abby Sunderland, the youngest person to attempt to circumnavigate the globe, will also be available to discuss her trip and sign DVD's and books.
• Show Hours: Saturday 10 a.m. - 9 p.m.; Sunday 11 a.m. - 6 p.m.
• Admission: Adults $10, free for children 12 and under.
Presented by the Automobile Club of Southern California, the annual event is held in Marina del Rey’s G Basin and Pier 44 Slips, at the corner of Admiralty Way and Bali Way.
