Nike Basketball Camps is expanding its program to St. Bernard High School in Playa del Rey this summer.
Two summer sessions taught by coach Ed Azzam and Reggie Morris will be offered for boys and girls. Each player will be placed on a team consisting of no more than 10 players.
Azzam is the head basketball coach at Westchester High School.
"There has never been a lack of basketball talent in the Los Angeles area, our goal is to combine this talent with great coaches and produce better players," said VP of Basketball Operations Brent Koonce in a statement. "Coach Azzam understands how to develop young players as well as anyone, we are very excited to be working with him at these new premier Southern California basketball camps."
Registration costs are $195, and the two sessions run from either 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. or 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
