Best Places to Watch Super Bowl XLVII in Marina del Rey

Forget Bourbon Street for Super Bowl—you’ve got Admiralty Way, and these local bars for viewing the game in Marina del Rey.

Forget Bourbon Street for Super Bowl this year—you’ve got Admiralty Way and Washington Boulevard. Whether you’re a Ravens fan, 49ers fan or neither, you can still enjoy a little taste of the Big Easy Super Bowl craze this Sunday in the good ol’ Marina del Rey. After all, it’s not just about the game. It’s also about hanging with your friends and enjoying hot wings, burgers, overflowing beer mugs and the most expensive 30 seconds of TV of the year. Here’s a list of local spots where you can watch the big game on Sunday.

1. Tony P’s

4445 Admiralty Way, Marina del Rey, CA (310) 823 -4534

This is a given. First of all, Tony P’s actually opened on Super Bowl Sunday in 1997. Second of all, seats at this local favorite sell out every year! Hurry up and book your reservations today. For $20, enjoy a commemorative T-shirt, drink specials, giveaways and the exciting atmosphere that Tony P’s is known for. Oh, and did we mention that Tony serves Louisiana-Style Mussels?

2. Killer Shrimp

4211 Admiralty Way, Marina del Rey, CA (310) 578-2293

What could be more “N’orleans” on game day than Popcorn Shrimp and Black Tea Collins?  Set yourself down at one of Killer Shrimp’s 90 seats and get a front-row view of one of the bar’s seven flat screens.

3. Mo’s Place at the Beach

203 Culver Blvd., Playa del Rey, CA (310) 822-6422

Mo’s Place is popular year-round for football enthusiasts, which means that it will most likely be packed full of hungry fans this Sunday! Word on the street is that Mo himself likes to get into the spirit by dressing up in bizarre costumes. Past costumes have included Colonel Sanders of KFC and an Egyptian King. Will he dress up as Poe the Raven or Sourdough Sam? Head over to Mo’s this Sunday to find out.

You can find the complete list of local Super Bowl viewing spots here. Which local bar and team are you rooting for this weekend?

Thank Glenn E. Grab for taking the time to send an answer. I agree with you, it would be blue IRead More think. I would like to hear from someone who has the same problem, there are hundreds of boats with this spray. Now having said this, we have now come up with a more rational reason. It's the pollen, not bee pollen, but tree pollen. Makes sense as it does only happen once a year. Searching for answers, this makes a little better sense.
