Featured Pet Jerry Acts Shy at First

Jerry is our Pet of the Week from Forte Animal Rescue.

Jerry is a sweet 5-year-old Labrador Retriever/Corgi mix. He is a little shy at first, but once he gets to know someone, he becomes very attached. Jerry spent four and a half months in a Los Angeles city pound and wasn’t getting much attention until his rescuer saw him. He’s attentive and really loves one-on-one time, while he also enjoys the company of canine friends.

Jerry weighs about 52 pounds and is already neutered, house-trained and up to date with shots.

Despite his shyness, he’s doing great at a cage-free facility where he’s boarding. He's blossoming as he starts to realize he’s out of death row. Jerry has been deprived of all the joys life could offer, but is now learning to enjoy himself. Jerry loves to eat and wagging his tail. He loves to sit in a lap and be hugged and petted. Jerry would really benefit from having a foster home to thrive in until he finds his forever home.
