Featured Pet Trixie Gets Along with Kids and Dogs

Trixie is our Pet of the Week from Forte Animal Rescue.

Trixie is an Australian Cattle Dog/Airedale Terrier mix. She is about 3 years old, weighs about 40 pounds and is already spayed, housetrained and up to date with shots. She's good with kids and also gets along with other dogs.

Trixie is a really nice dog, inside and outside. She is a bit on the shy side when meeting new dogs, but after proper introduction, she really enjoys playing. In fact, she’s currently boarding at a cagefree facility.

She makes a great running partner, loves car rides, and prefers lying next to you while she is relaxing. Trixie needs a family who will love her the way she deserves. She knows the “sit” command and very politely obliges. Trixie is very smart and sweet and will make you very happy.
