Walter and Buddy Looking for a Home Together

Walter and Buddy are the featured pets up for adoption through Forte Animal Rescue.

Walter and Buddy are two wonderfully sweet Labrador mixes in need of a good home.

Walter is incredibly affectionate and loves to be cradled in your arms like a baby, and he is very attuned to his family's surroundings. He once barked at the bathroom door to tell his guardians that an elderly person who was visiting was in trouble in the bathroom. The guardians opened the door to find the elderly guest passed out on the bathroom floor. Walter to the rescue!

When he was rescued, Buddy’s paw was sticking through the bars in the pound. Little did his rescuer then know that this was his trademark. Buddy will give you a paw to shake until the sun goes down. He is a very loving soul and would make a great family dog. He has proven so for the past few years, together with his best pal. Walter.

Their family fell apart and Walter and Buddy are paying the price. They would love the chance to find a home together - both of them are amazing dogs who truly love people and one another.

Walter and Buddy are already neutered, housetrained, current with shots, good with kids, and good with other dogs. Walter is 6 years old and about 40 pounds, and Buddy is 8 years old and about 40 pounds

Forte Animal Rescue is also looking for foster homes for its rescued dogs, along with volunteers to help its adoption events.
