The Lloyd Taber-Marina del Rey Library was built in 1976 and is named after its principal donor. The library has a unique nautical section for small boaters that includes thousands of books and hundreds of audio and video titles. A reading room faces the harbor, and a large window provides a pleasant view. A special video collection of moderns and classics are available for a $1 loan with proceeds going to the Friends of the Library. If the adjacent parking lot is full, go to the nearby Lot 5 and ask a librarian for a permit.
