Mark Twain Middle School is one of the few dual-language schools in the Los Angeles Unified School District. Starting in 2010, students from the English-Spanish dual-language program at Grand View Elementary School will receive 50 percent of their instruction in Spanish when they enter Mark Twain Middle School in the sixth grade. The school has an active booster club, strong involvement from parents and has successfully partnered with private businesses, including Creative Artists Agency, for cash donations and school supplies.
