Purfield's is the holy grail of sport fishing in the area. You can get fishing rods and lures, and hear stories about fishing the local waters. The staff throws in advice to newbies for free. The staff is also knowledgeable about fishing far away spots, too. The store has been around since 1983, and used to be located a few blocks from its present spot, which it has occupied since 2001.
