I hope we'll be seeing some independent restaurants (and coffee shops!) too - Paiche is a goodRead More start. This area has huge potential and I'd much rather see it go in the direction of Venice and Culver City than become full of the type of chains you can visit everywhere else.

there are some on the waterfront, just not places you might like to spend your time and money. AndRead More traffic on the ocean side of the marina does get heavy if too many seats need filling every night, and thus spreading out the seats throughout the entire area is preferred.

Great news - I love the Yard House in Long Beach!! But why oh why isn't it on the waterfront? MDRRead More planners seem to be missing a trick by not having shops and Restaurantson the waterfront!! Come on MDR planners add some vibrancy to the area!!
