Years later, my interest for journalism continues to grow. I studied communication and journalism at the University of Southern California. My passion for journalism has led me to different newsrooms in Los Angeles such as KABC, CNN, KCAL/KCBS, ABC News, and Telemundo. I was an on-air reporter in Orange County and the South Bay area. I love music, photography and traveling the world. Feel free to send me an email, tweet or text...I'm looking forward to the conversation.
Your Beliefs
At Patch, we promise always to report the facts as objectively as possible and otherwise adhere to the principles of good journalism. However, we also acknowledge that true impartiality is impossible because human beings have beliefs. So in the spirit of simple honesty, our policy is to encourage our editors to reveal their beliefs to the extent they feel comfortable. This disclosure is not a license for you to inject your beliefs into stories or to dictate coverage according to them. In fact, the intent is the opposite: we hope that the knowledge that your beliefs are on the record will cause you to be ever mindful to write, report and edit in a fair, balanced way. And if you ever see evidence that we failed in this mission, please let us know.
Politics
How would you describe your political beliefs?

I read Newsweek and Time Magazine to keep me informed. I also enjoy discussing politics--especially with my Australian, New Zealander and Canadian buddies. It's more fun that way.
Are you registered with a certain party?
I'm registered with the Democratic Party.
Religion
How religious would you consider yourself? (casual, observant, devout, non religious)
I just do whatever Oprah tells me to.
Local Hot-Button Issues
What do you think are the most important issues facing the community?
West Hollywood has too many! I'll throw out keywords instead: traffic congestion, parking, over-development, affordable housing, LGBT rights, human rightsand building preservation.
Where do you stand on each of these issues?
I'm still taking notes, but I think some of these issues require more awareness, discussion and activism.
