Police are investigating a shooting in Del Rey Friday night that left two people wounded.

The shooting happened around 11:30 p.m. Friday at the corner of Braddock Drive and Slauson Avenue, said Sgt. Robin Richards of the Los Angeles Police Department's Pacific Station.

The male victims, one 16 and the other 18 years old, were in a parked car when a silver Dodge Charger drove up and a male suspect got out and opened fire, Richards said.

The victims drove to Brotman Medical Center in Culver City, where they were being
treated for non-life-threatening wounds, he said.

The victims were not gang members, Richards said.
